Your IP address is briefly sent to ip-api.com, a third-party lookup service, to resolve it into an approximate country — used only for understanding roughly where the list is based. Your exact IP address is stored alongside your signup, but not published or sold.
Accepting the cookie prompt sets a consent cookie plus a tracking cookie carrying a random visitor id, both valid for a year. This lets us recognize you on return visits and remember that you've already answered the prompt.
Rejecting the prompt saves absolutely nothing — no cookie, no local storage of any kind. Because nothing is remembered, the prompt will appear again on your next visit.
If you're in the European Economic Area, the UK, or anywhere with similar protections, you can access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold on you, and withdraw consent at any time — no reason required.
